After having played for 2 minutes, Hellmut Balterschütz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Würzburger Kickers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hellmut Balterschütz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eggert Bleiziffer hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Lou Rockstein made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Klemens Kriebel sent off a good shot on target. After 7 played minutes FC Würzburger Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Eggert Bleiziffer. Lou Rockstein made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Ringo Obele sent off a good shot on target. Ringo Obele in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lou Rockstein, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Max Brass kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lou Rockstein. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 17th minute Hellmut Balterschütz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siegfried Jaser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Preußen Münster's Siegfried Jaser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claus Nomayo in the 18th minute of play. FC Würzburger Kickers's Lou Rockstein proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save FC Würzburger Kickers from getting a goal against them. Ahmed Knop fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lou Rockstein having to interfere. Lou Rockstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Knop in the 25th minute of the match. Lou Rockstein didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ringo Obele went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to FC Würzburger Kickers getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Eggert Bleiziffer hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the game, Christof Wagener was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Würzburger Kickers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Preußen Münster the free kick. Preußen Münster's Ringo Obele was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 40th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 44th minute Hellmut Balterschütz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siegfried Jaser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lou Rockstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Knop in the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th match minute, Preußen Münster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klemens Kriebel to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Eggert Bleiziffer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Siegfried Jaser made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claus Nomayo got free with Siegfried Jaser in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hellmut Balterschütz in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Siegfried Jaser saved Preußen Münster from getting behind. Ringo Obele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lou Rockstein having to interfere. Ringo Obele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Würzburger Kickers's Lou Rockstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmed Knop in the 63rd minute of play. If Max Brass had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 minutes of play, Preußen Münster's Ahmed Knop made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lou Rockstein was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 69th minute, Ringo Obele made a precise shot to the right of Lou Rockstein. FC Würzburger Kickers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 6-0 became the score in the 73rd minute when Max Brass elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lou Rockstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Knop in the 78th minute of the match. Lou Rockstein was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Albert Reincke took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lou Rockstein. FC Würzburger Kickers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 92nd minute Ringo Obele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lou Rockstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Max Brass struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Lou Rockstein didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Preußen Münster. When the referee ended the match the Preußen Münster players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
