Spectators: 7418 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rafael Walleitner kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Florian Ewen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jochen Adler. SV Barkas Frankenberg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florian Ewen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 0-2 became the score in the 8th minute when Florian Ewen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 12 minutes, Stanislaus Bandmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sarau and the SV Barkas Frankenberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sarau's Stanislaus Bandmann got a free kick in the 13th minute. Iso Huber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Walleitner in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match Erich Pickhardt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iso Huber skillfully saved the ball. In the 25th minute Rafael Walleitner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iso Huber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iso Huber made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Piero Anselm sent off a good shot on target. Iso Huber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Moritz in the 32nd minute of play. Sarau's Iso Huber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Walleitner in the 34th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, SV Barkas Frankenberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erich Pickhardt to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Fabian Bühler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute Rafael Walleitner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iso Huber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SV Barkas Frankenberg's zone, Stanislaus Bandmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jochen Adler came out of the goal and Stanislaus Bandmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gerrit Bruns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Sarau were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Marcus Moritz managed to get in a good position for a shot. SV Barkas Frankenberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcus Moritz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iso Huber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 57 minutes into the game, SV Barkas Frankenberg's Rafael Walleitner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iso Huber made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. A collision led to SV Barkas Frankenberg getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Marcus Moritz hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Jochen Adler successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Piero Anselm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Iso Huber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bertram Kuypers fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarau's protests and gave Bertram Kuypers a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sarau's Bertram Kuypers got a free kick in the 67th minute. Stanislaus Bandmann hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute of the match Erich Pickhardt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iso Huber showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Iso Huber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Walleitner, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. With a little luck, SV Barkas Frankenberg's Jochen Adler got control of the ball when Gerrit Bruns tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stanislaus Bandmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 played minutes Sarau got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Bühler. 80 minutes into the match, SV Barkas Frankenberg's goalkeeper Jochen Adler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerrit Bruns. 81 minutes into the match, Gerrit Bruns dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jochen Adler, 1-3. 86 minutes into the match, Sarau's goal looked a bit too open when Piero Anselm came free, but Iso Huber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerrit Bruns recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stanislaus Bandmann hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerrit Bruns got free with Jochen Adler in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sarau walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
