Spectators: 7520 (Terracing: 5641, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) Rhode's Dittmar Schramm started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Feridun Lubbatsch's late challenge caught a Korvette 20's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feridun Lubbatsch helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Korvette 20 booed when Rhode was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feridun Lubbatsch didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Henrik Meis from long distance, 5 minutes into the match, got Nico Brockmann's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience was convinced that Kaspar Hasselbach's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nico Brockmann was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. 24 minutes into the match, Korvette 20's goal looked a bit too open when Gerhard Pliska came free, but Luca Delwig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Korvette 20's Luca Delwig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerhard Pliska in the 34th minute of play. Gerhard Pliska received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Luca Delwig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Dittmar Schramm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luca Delwig. Korvette 20's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dittmar Schramm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 43rd match minute, Rhode was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavian Meyer to maneuver through the defense. Korvette 20's Luca Delwig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerhard Pliska in the 46th minute of play. After 48 minutes, Hanno Pluta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Korvette 20 and the Rhode players grew even worse after the yellow card. Korvette 20's Luca Delwig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dittmar Schramm in the 49th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kaspar Hasselbach was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Dittmar Schramm fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Luca Delwig, passed just outside the right post. Kaspar Hasselbach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luca Delwig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dittmar Schramm in the 59th minute of play. If Jan Plasczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Jan Plasczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Korvette 20's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Plasczyk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nico Brockmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute, Marco Welp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dittmar Schramm received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luca Delwig came out and tried to block the shot, but Dittmar Schramm slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 68th minute. Gerhard Pliska's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luca Delwig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Rhode:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Korvette 20:s goal. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Korvette 20. Henrik Meis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nico Brockmann. 2-3. Kaspar Hasselbach struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Nico Brockmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Korvette 20. Marco Welp charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Welp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marco Welp hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Kaspar Hasselbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico Brockmann having to interfere. Hanno Pluta got his second yellow card in the match during the 95th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Korvette 20's Hanno Pluta got a free kick in the 96th minute. Gerhard Pliska recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Rhode players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
