Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Hellmut Balterschütz made the kick off which started today's match. FC Würzburger Kickers's Lou Rockstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Brass in the 5th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Würzburger Kickers defense, Max Brass kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lou Rockstein. The FC Würzburger Kickers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lou Rockstein should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 10 in the game by Claus Nomayo from a close distance when the talented Siegfried Jaser managed to make a qualified save. Preußen Münster's players were relieved. In the 11th minute Ringo Obele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lou Rockstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmed Knop in the 12th minute of play forced FC Würzburger Kickers's goalkeeper Lou Rockstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 minutes of play, Preußen Münster's Ahmed Knop made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lou Rockstein was left in no man's land by his defense there! Michael Gunkel hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, FC Würzburger Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Max Brass came free, but Lou Rockstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Preußen Münster's goalkeeper Siegfried Jaser, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lou Rockstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Knop in the 32nd minute of the match. Klemens Kriebel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Klemens Kriebel came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Preußen Münster fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klemens Kriebel couldn't finish the play. Siegfried Jaser was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Hellmut Balterschütz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hellmut Balterschütz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmed Knop made a kick off. Lou Rockstein made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Ringo Obele sent off a good shot on target. When Claus Nomayo came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the FC Würzburger Kickers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claus Nomayo couldn't finish the play. Siegfried Jaser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claus Nomayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Lou Rockstein made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ringo Obele in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the game, FC Würzburger Kickers's Claus Nomayo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Siegfried Jaser made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Preußen Münster's Siegfried Jaser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claus Nomayo in the 64th minute of play. Ringo Obele could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Lou Rockstein made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Preußen Münster's Ahmed Knop slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lou Rockstein. That made the score 2-4 after 71 minutes of play. 75 minutes into the game, Ahmed Knop recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lou Rockstein. Ahmed Knop showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. 80 minutes into the game, Klemens Kriebel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lou Rockstein. In the 86th minute Ahmed Knop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lou Rockstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Max Brass recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Würzburger Kickers's Lou Rockstein proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Würzburger Kickers from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute Max Brass shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lou Rockstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ringo Obele received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Lou Rockstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Preußen Münster's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
