Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Thorsten Junginger took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, VfL Teck's Ned Renkewitz got a free kick in the 3rd minute. VfL Teck's attack was well implemented in the 5th minute, but when Ned Renkewitz was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Marten Liskowsky hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 10 played minutes Deckenhausen got a freekick which was hit by Christen Lehn. Hansjörg Christoph struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Olaf Schwartau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VfL Teck. Guntram Bahlau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Olaf Schwartau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, Godwin Mitscher cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Balduin Hesselbach was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Balduin Hesselbach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julien Frommelt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Balduin Hesselbach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julien Frommelt in the 29th minute of play. After some careless play in the VfL Teck defense, Julien Frommelt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Balduin Hesselbach. The VfL Teck fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Balduin Hesselbach should have stopped the shot. Deckenhausen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Ned Renkewitz scored to the left of an out of position Olaf Schwartau, making the score, 1-2. Balduin Hesselbach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godwin Mitscher in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, VfL Teck's goal looked a bit too open when Jork Atan came free, but Balduin Hesselbach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Deckenhausen were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ned Renkewitz to make the kick off. Hansjörg Christoph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ned Renkewitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olaf Schwartau having to interfere. VfL Teck's Balduin Hesselbach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save VfL Teck from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Balduin Hesselbach successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ned Renkewitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olaf Schwartau having to interfere. Balduin Hesselbach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thorsten Junginger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Balduin Hesselbach was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Julien Frommelt capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Julien Frommelt really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Balduin Hesselbach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thorsten Junginger, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Gottfried Kokott hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Simeon Detzler shot from long distance in the 79th minute, but Balduin Hesselbach was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. VfL Teck's Ben Buckmann got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Deckenhausen's goalkeeper Olaf Schwartau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, VfL Teck's goalkeeper Balduin Hesselbach had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godwin Mitscher. VfL Teck's Balduin Hesselbach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godwin Mitscher in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, VfL Teck's goal looked a bit too open when Thorsten Junginger came free, but Balduin Hesselbach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Deckenhausen had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
