Spectators: 7205 (Terracing: 5605, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Julius Baumgarten kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Lilianvenn booed when FC 1701 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Jetter didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 3rd minute, Jukka Kreller made a precise shot to the right of Lee Küffner. FC 1701's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Titus Bittscheidt kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Lilianvenn's Slaven Eitenmüller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julius Baumgarten in the 7th minute of play. After having played for 9 minutes, Niclas Schleier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lilianvenn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niclas Schleier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC 1701's Claude Gielchen got a free kick in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Niclas Schleier notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC 1701's Lee Küffner. Lee Küffner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Lilianvenn's Jukka Kreller in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC 1701's goalie prevented a goal. Niclas Schleier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lee Küffner having to interfere. Jukka Kreller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Patrick Jetter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slaven Eitenmüller having to interfere. Lee Küffner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jukka Kreller in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 minutes FC 1701's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Max Josef Döhler who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Lilianvenn's Max Josef Döhler to fire away a dangerous shot which Lee Küffner despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Niclas Schleier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julius Baumgarten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Slaven Eitenmüller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julius Baumgarten in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niclas Schleier to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, FC 1701's Julius Baumgarten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Slaven Eitenmüller narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jukka Kreller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lee Küffner having to interfere. Mario Stemberg's late challenge caught a FC 1701's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Stemberg helped the player get up and apologised. Mario Stemberg kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Max Josef Döhler hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, FC 1701's Julius Baumgarten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Slaven Eitenmüller narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC 1701's Lee Küffner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niclas Schleier in the 72nd minute of play. In the 78th minute, Julius Baumgarten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute, Jukka Kreller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lee Küffner was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When Jukka Kreller came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Lilianvenn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jukka Kreller couldn't finish the play. Niclas Schleier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lee Küffner having to interfere. Patrick Jetter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slaven Eitenmüller having to interfere. The Lilianvenn supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lilianvenn would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
