Spectators: 7364 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 30) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ottmar Posinski took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience was convinced that Paul Rohmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomas Zacher was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. 5 minutes into the match, Habaletta Fire's goal looked a bit too open when Ottmar Posinski came free, but Thomas Zacher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joint Paffer FC's Gunnar Teufel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Joint Paffer FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Ottmar Posinski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joint Paffer FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ottmar Posinski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Zacher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute Birk Bernstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Zacher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Joint Paffer FC's zone, Urs Groth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunnar Teufel came out of the goal and Urs Groth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manfred Pfau hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Urs Groth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Gunnar Teufel made a huge save. Thomas Zacher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ebbo Aigner, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. When Birk Bernstein came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Joint Paffer FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Birk Bernstein couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute, Ottmar Posinski made a precise shot to the right of Thomas Zacher. Habaletta Fire's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Manfred Pfau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Thomas Zacher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Zacher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Rohmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Joint Paffer FC's Ottmar Posinski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomas Zacher narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Birk Bernstein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute, Mark Frings got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ottmar Posinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Thomas Zacher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Habaletta Fire players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Joint Paffer FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thomas Kitzmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Manfred Pfau charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manfred Pfau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Joint Paffer FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Manfred Pfau hit a great ball. Joint Paffer FC's Gunnar Teufel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urs Groth in the 53rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urs Groth during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Urs Groth kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Joint Paffer FC's Manfred Pfau got a free kick in the 56th minute. The supporters of Habaletta Fire booed when Joint Paffer FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Frings didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joint Paffer FC's Gunnar Teufel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torben Rose in the 62nd minute of play. Ottmar Posinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Thomas Zacher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torben Rose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leroy Abd el Farrag kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Ottmar Posinski was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 75th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Paul Rohmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joint Paffer FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paul Rohmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ottmar Posinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mark Frings received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Thomas Zacher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Kitzmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ebbo Aigner hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute Thomas Kitzmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Teufel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
