Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Thorsten Junginger started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute, FC DEMA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Godwin Mitscher fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Matt Kleinhansl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Thorsten Junginger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 played minutes FC DEMA got a freekick which was hit by Peter-Michael Evers. With a little luck, FC DEMA's Ludwig Bargon got control of the ball when Godwin Mitscher tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ludwig Bargon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thorsten Junginger in the 18th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC DEMA's zone, Jork Atan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ludwig Bargon came out of the goal and Jork Atan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thorsten Junginger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC DEMA's zone, Thorsten Junginger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ludwig Bargon came out of the goal and Thorsten Junginger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olaf Schwartau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudi Wagner in the 35th minute of play. Thorsten Junginger received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ludwig Bargon came out and tried to block the shot, but Thorsten Junginger slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 39th minute. In the 46th minute Thorsten Junginger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludwig Bargon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matt Kleinhansl to make the kick off. In the 60th minute, Anton Mieß hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Godwin Mitscher left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deckenhausen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Olaf Schwartau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matt Kleinhansl in the 65th minute of the match. Rudi Wagner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Olaf Schwartau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Thorsten Junginger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes FC DEMA got a freekick which was hit by Friedrich Schmugge. Friedrich Schmugge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jork Atan kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rudi Wagner got free with Olaf Schwartau in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Deckenhausen's Jork Atan got a free kick in the 81st minute. Godwin Mitscher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ludwig Bargon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ludwig Bargon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thorsten Junginger in the 88th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Deckenhausen defense, Rudi Wagner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olaf Schwartau. The Deckenhausen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olaf Schwartau should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC DEMA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
