Slaven Eitenmüller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lilianvenn's Slaven Eitenmüller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thorsten Junginger in the 17th minute of play. Titus Bittscheidt's late challenge caught a Deckenhausen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Titus Bittscheidt helped the player get up and apologised. Titus Bittscheidt kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Lilianvenn's goalkeeper Slaven Eitenmüller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godwin Mitscher. Slaven Eitenmüller made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godwin Mitscher in the 19th minute. Niclas Schleier scored 2-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olaf Schwartau, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Thorsten Junginger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Slaven Eitenmüller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thorsten Junginger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
