Spectators: 7233 (Terracing: 5633, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Julius Baumgarten kicked off to start the match. In the 13th match minute, FC 1701 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuri Kratz to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Manfred Pfau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manfred Pfau during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Joint Paffer FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfred Pfau to maneuver through the defense. Gunnar Teufel made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Patrick Jetter sent off a good shot on target. Lee Küffner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ottmar Posinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Joint Paffer FC's Gunnar Teufel got control of the ball when Patrick Jetter tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Albert Meinke fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joint Paffer FC's protests and gave Albert Meinke a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 minutes, Mark Frings mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Joint Paffer FC and the FC 1701 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Joint Paffer FC's Mark Frings got a free kick in the 34th minute. Joint Paffer FC's Ottmar Posinski got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lee Küffner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ottmar Posinski in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, FC 1701 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claude Gielchen to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, Birk Bernstein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patrick Jetter succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 45th playminute.

Ebbo Aigner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albert Meinke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Lee Küffner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mark Frings hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Julius Baumgarten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Gunnar Teufel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 61st minute of the match Manfred Pfau completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Manfred Pfau a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Julius Baumgarten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC 1701's zone, Birk Bernstein stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lee Küffner came out of the goal and Birk Bernstein tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute, Ebbo Aigner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute, Birk Bernstein left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Joint Paffer FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Ottmar Posinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joint Paffer FC's Paul Rohmann got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Birk Bernstein kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lee Küffner. That made the score 1-2 in the 93 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Ebbo Aigner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joint Paffer FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ebbo Aigner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lee Küffner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joint Paffer FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
