Urs Groth scored 1-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Igor Bischoff, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Igor Bischoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marvin Brünen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Igor Bischoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Kitzmann in the 29th minute of the match. With a little luck, Habaletta Fire's Thomas Zacher got control of the ball when Heinz Irtel tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Imzouren United's zone, Thomas Kitzmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Bischoff came out of the goal and Thomas Kitzmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Imzouren United's Heinz Irtel got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Heinz Irtel came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Imzouren United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heinz Irtel couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Imzouren United booed when Habaletta Fire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marvin Brünen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomas Zacher was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thomas Zacher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedor Kelm, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. If Heinz Irtel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Urs Groth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Bischoff having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Imzouren United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Habaletta Fire:s goal. The referee gave Habaletta Fire a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mathias Michael Albrecht, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Imzouren United's Igor Bischoff. 2-3. Fedor Kelm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Thomas Zacher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Heinz Irtel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thomas Kitzmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Bischoff having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Habaletta Fire had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
