Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Matt Kleinhansl kicked off to start the match. Olaf Schwartau was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Matt Kleinhansl capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Matt Kleinhansl really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Olaf Schwartau came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by FC DEMA's Rudi Wagner. But to his dismay, Rudi Wagner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ludwig Bargon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thorsten Junginger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 18 minutes, Matt Kleinhansl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC DEMA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matt Kleinhansl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC DEMA's goalkeeper Ludwig Bargon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rudi Wagner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Olaf Schwartau made a huge save. Thorsten Junginger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ludwig Bargon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godwin Mitscher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ludwig Bargon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thorsten Junginger in the 28th minute of play. Olaf Schwartau made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Rudi Wagner sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute, Thorsten Junginger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olaf Schwartau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matt Kleinhansl's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After 46 played minutes Deckenhausen got a freekick which was hit by Julien Frommelt. Rudi Wagner in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Olaf Schwartau, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
Matt Kleinhansl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olaf Schwartau having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC DEMA's Lars Böcker got a free kick in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, FC DEMA's goal looked a bit too open when Thorsten Junginger came free, but Ludwig Bargon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rudi Wagner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olaf Schwartau having to interfere. In the 60th minute Matt Kleinhansl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Schwartau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 played minutes, FC DEMA's Helmuth Langguth shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Olaf Schwartau came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC DEMA reached it. Thorsten Junginger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thorsten Junginger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Ludwig Bargon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 72 minutes into the game, Rudi Wagner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Olaf Schwartau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Rudi Wagner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matt Kleinhansl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Olaf Schwartau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th match minute, Deckenhausen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jork Atan to maneuver through the defense. If Matt Kleinhansl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deckenhausen's Olaf Schwartau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudi Wagner in the 94th minute of play. Deckenhausen's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
