In the 9th minute, David Tiedemann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spall FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Carl Mauel fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TuS Warstein's protests and gave Carl Mauel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th match minute, TuS Warstein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Mauel to maneuver through the defense. Mathis Bohn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Werlich in the 19th minute of play. David Tiedemann took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mathis Bohn. Mathis Bohn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Tiedemann in the 23rd minute of play forced TuS Warstein's goalkeeper Mathis Bohn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathis Bohn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Werlich in the 28th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Maiko Gruber had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mathis Bohn. TuS Warstein's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maiko Gruber was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Mathis Bohn came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Spall FSV's Maiko Gruber. But to his dismay, Maiko Gruber quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 46th minute Peter-Stefan Grefen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathis Bohn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulf Werlich to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, TuS Warstein's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf Werlich came free, but Mathis Bohn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maiko Gruber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th match minute, TuS Warstein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johannes Ecker to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in TuS Warstein's zone, Maiko Gruber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathis Bohn came out of the goal and Maiko Gruber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Werlich in the 67th minute of play forced TuS Warstein's goalkeeper Mathis Bohn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Tiedemann got free with Mathis Bohn in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 78th minute, Spall FSV's Ulf Werlich ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mathis Bohn. Mathis Bohn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. The supporters of Spall FSV booed when TuS Warstein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Mauel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mathis Bohn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Werlich in the 89th minute of play. Mathis Bohn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Werlich in the 94th minute of play. Spall FSV's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
