The wind increased when Omar Hörholdt made the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, TuS Erkersreuth's Hartmut Rebell made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Hofmeister in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fred Rudloff saved Monterrey FC from getting behind.
