Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Nicolas Hofmeister made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in TuS Erkersreuth's zone, Jupp Seuß stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimar Lenke came out of the goal and Jupp Seuß tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Willy Kunze managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alertshausen's supporters rose to their feet, but Willy Kunze was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimar Lenke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8 minutes into the match, Nicolas Hofmeister notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Alertshausen's Jens Dietrich. Jens Dietrich was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 11th minute of the match Dominik Winterhalter shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jens Dietrich showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 13th minute, Willy Kunze left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alertshausen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 16th match minute, Alertshausen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fritz Westerwinter to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to TuS Erkersreuth getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Clemens Thielen hit a great ball. Jupp Seuß sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. TuS Erkersreuth's Raimar Lenke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willy Kunze in the 28th minute of play. Jens Dietrich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hartmut Rebell in the 32nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Jupp Seuß could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Raimar Lenke however easily saved by the left post. In the 38th minute, Nicolas Hofmeister made a precise shot to the right of Jens Dietrich. Alertshausen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Vladimir Dierking took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jens Dietrich. Alertshausen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, TuS Erkersreuth's goal looked a bit too open when Willy Kunze came free, but Raimar Lenke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Hartmut Rebell managed to get in a good position for a shot. TuS Erkersreuth's supporters rose to their feet, but Hartmut Rebell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens Dietrich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Alertshausen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. TuS Erkersreuth were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Willy Kunze made a kick off. Hartmut Rebell struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Jens Dietrich didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TuS Erkersreuth. When Willy Kunze fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alertshausen's protests and gave Willy Kunze a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of TuS Erkersreuth booed when Alertshausen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willy Kunze didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Hartmut Rebell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens Dietrich made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hartmut Rebell in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jupp Seuß in the 67th minute of play forced TuS Erkersreuth's goalkeeper Raimar Lenke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Alertshausen's Jupp Seuß sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raimar Lenke narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Clemens Thielen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jupp Seuß came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Alertshausen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jupp Seuß couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute Jupp Seuß shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimar Lenke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alertshausen's Jupp Seuß got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicolas Hofmeister struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Jens Dietrich didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TuS Erkersreuth. Clemens Thielen's late challenge caught a Alertshausen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clemens Thielen helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, TuS Erkersreuth's Clemens Thielen got a free kick in the 93rd minute. TuS Erkersreuth's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
