Agilo Bonacker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Werlich in the 6th minute of the match. After 10 played minutes Disteln got a freekick which was hit by Dix Feyand. Spall FSV's Maiko Gruber got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Spall FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Heinrich Schießl came free, but Rutger Renz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disteln's Heinrich Schießl got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Knud Reynen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rutger Renz having to interfere. Agilo Bonacker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulf Werlich's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. The Spall FSV fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Spall FSV's Maiko Gruber looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maiko Gruber in the 44th minute of play forced Disteln's goalkeeper Agilo Bonacker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Maiko Gruber got free in front of the goal in the 48th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Agilo Bonacker was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Heinrich Schießl stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Spall FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Tiedemann to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Spall FSV booed when Disteln was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdl Bodin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Gordon Kühn sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Disteln's Agilo Bonacker didn't even have to move. In the 89th minute Heinrich Schießl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rutger Renz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Disteln's Agilo Bonacker got control of the ball when Maiko Gruber tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ulf Werlich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 95 minutes into the match, Disteln's goalkeeper Agilo Bonacker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maiko Gruber. Ulf Werlich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Agilo Bonacker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Spall FSV had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
