But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Levin Hillekes couldn't finish the play. After having played for 33 minutes, Marco Stamm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pana Janusze's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Stamm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torsten Raab in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mathis Bohn saved TuS Warstein from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Raab in the 44th minute of play forced TuS Warstein's goalkeeper Mathis Bohn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, TuS Warstein's Carl Mauel got a free kick in the 48th minute. The TuS Warstein players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pana Janusze were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximilian Neudorf stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Levin Hillekes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabrizio Vitelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute, TuS Warstein's Johannes Ecker seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Johannes Ecker the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of TuS Warstein protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Johannes Ecker had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, TuS Warstein's Johannes Ecker got a free kick in the 59th minute. Martin Hörster could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Mathis Bohn made a huge save. In the 62nd minute Quint Kunze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathis Bohn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, one of TuS Warstein:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Marco Stamm sped through TuS Warstein's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mathis Bohn. TuS Warstein's August Albrecht managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gösta Dürre in the 76 minute of the game. Torsten Raab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathis Bohn having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Marco Stamm kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mathis Bohn. That made the score 0-4 in the 87 minute of play. After 97 minutes, Martin Hörster mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pana Janusze and the TuS Warstein players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 97th match minute, Pana Janusze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Hörster to maneuver through the defense. In the 98th minute of the match Klaus Raichner shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michael Ondraczek showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match was over Pana Janusze could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than TuS Warstein throughout the match.
