Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emanuel Phillip kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sascha Schnabel in the 3rd minute of play forced ZFC Turbine's goalkeeper Lasse Batsch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Roland Gehring had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Björn Nadel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niklas Yilmaz went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Roland Gehring received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Lasse Batsch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lasse Batsch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sascha Schnabel in the 17th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Roland Gehring managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benstorf FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Gehring was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lasse Batsch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 23 minutes of play, Benstorf FSV's Roland Gehring made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lasse Batsch was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the match, Benstorf FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Reinhard Weiss came free, but Björn Nadel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lasse Batsch made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Roland Gehring sent off a good shot on target. Lasse Batsch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sascha Schnabel in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ZFC Turbine's Herbert Kliemann got a free kick in the 46th minute.

After having played for 52 minutes, Roland Gehring managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Benstorf FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Gehring was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 53rd match minute, ZFC Turbine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frieder Burger-Heidger to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes into the match, Sascha Schnabel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lasse Batsch. ZFC Turbine's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sascha Schnabel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sascha Schnabel in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lasse Batsch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sascha Schnabel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lasse Batsch having to interfere. Sascha Schnabel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Lasse Batsch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roland Gehring in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lasse Batsch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd minute, Sascha Schnabel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Benstorf FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. ZFC Turbine's Lasse Batsch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sascha Schnabel in the 79th minute of play. Roland Gehring received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Lasse Batsch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benstorf FSV's Roland Gehring got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94thth minute of the game Sascha Schnabel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ZFC Turbine's Lasse Batsch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benstorf FSV walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
