Spectators: 7225 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ansbert Ahrend kicked off to start the match. Christian Grösch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Detleff Scheerer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Kahn in the 9th minute of the match. SG Bühlau's Detleff Scheerer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerald Fuhl in the 12th minute of play. Christian Grösch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Detleff Scheerer having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, SG Bühlau's goal looked a bit too open when Gerald Fuhl came free, but Detleff Scheerer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SG Bühlau's Kai Plank got a free kick in the 25th minute. Christian Grösch's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Detleff Scheerer firmly grabbed it by the left post. 27 minutes into the game, Ansbert Ahrend was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SG Bühlau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bernau e.V. the free kick. After 27 played minutes SG Bühlau got a freekick which was hit by Ansbert Ahrend. Detleff Scheerer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerald Fuhl in the 28th minute of play. If Kai Plank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Stötzel hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. If Kai Plank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gerald Fuhl made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Grösch in the 53rd minute of play forced SG Bühlau's goalkeeper Detleff Scheerer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Gerald Fuhl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bernau e.V.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerald Fuhl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gerald Fuhl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th match minute, SG Bühlau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ansbert Ahrend to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute of the match Sol Borak sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Detleff Scheerer skillfully saved the ball. Kai Plank charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Gerald Fuhl scored 1-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Detleff Scheerer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 84 minutes, Christian Grösch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 93rd minute, Kai Plank ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Drees Fritz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. SG Bühlau played a much better game than Bernau e.V. and deserved their victory. The Bernau e.V. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
