Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Marius Meul came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Wohlerst fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marius Meul couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl Martin Bachmann during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Greifenstein's Karl Martin Bachmann got a free kick in the 4th minute. After having played for 5 minutes, Marius Meul managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wohlerst's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marius Meul was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Werner Dettke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Fredy Bachmann made a huge save. Frank-Dieter Appelt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Fredy Bachmann skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Greifenstein's zone, Marius Meul stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fredy Bachmann came out of the goal and Marius Meul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wohlerst's Frank-Dieter Appelt got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Wohlerst's Frank-Dieter Appelt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Marius Meul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marius Meul in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fredy Bachmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute Marius Meul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredy Bachmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marius Meul struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Fredy Bachmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wohlerst. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marius Meul to strike the kick off in the second half. Fredy Bachmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marius Meul's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute, Johannes-Paul Eller made a precise shot to the right of Fredy Bachmann. Greifenstein's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Marius Meul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredy Bachmann having to interfere. Fredy Bachmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank-Dieter Appelt went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When Wohlerst's Frank-Dieter Appelt in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Greifenstein's goalkeeper Fredy Bachmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Frank-Dieter Appelt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wohlerst fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Wohlerst's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
