After 3 minutes of play, Rieflinghausen's Uno Reska made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Drees Fritz was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Bernau e.V. getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Gordon Imhof hit a great ball. When Uno Reska came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Rieflinghausen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uno Reska couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Benjamin Gothe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rieflinghausen's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Gothe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Drees Fritz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute, Gabriel Stötzel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Bernau e.V.'s Gabriel Stötzel got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Benjamin Gothe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drees Fritz having to interfere. Benjamin Gothe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Drees Fritz having to make a save. Uno Reska recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Drees Fritz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Gothe in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bernau e.V.'s goalkeeper Drees Fritz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sol Borak hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After 37 minutes of play, Rieflinghausen's Benjamin Gothe made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Drees Fritz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benjamin Gothe struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Drees Fritz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rieflinghausen. Drees Fritz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Gothe in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Wolf Pitsch made the kick off in the second half. Tim Kronenberg's late challenge caught a Bernau e.V.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tim Kronenberg helped the player get up and apologised. Tim Kronenberg hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Uno Reska had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uno Reska fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drees Fritz having to interfere. In the 66thth minute of the game Uno Reska who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bernau e.V.'s Drees Fritz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Benjamin Gothe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Drees Fritz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 69th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. The supporters of Bernau e.V. booed when Rieflinghausen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moritz Kock didn't get a good kick on the ball. Drees Fritz made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Uno Reska sent off a good shot on target. Uno Reska received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Drees Fritz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Drees Fritz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Gothe in the 78th minute of play. Uno Reska might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Drees Fritz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Uno Reska ran back to his position shaking his head. Drees Fritz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Gothe, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Drees Fritz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Gothe in the 85th minute of the match. Benjamin Gothe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drees Fritz having to interfere. Uno Reska recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rieflinghausen's Benjamin Gothe in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bernau e.V.'s goalie prevented a goal. Uno Reska fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drees Fritz having to interfere. The Bernau e.V. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rieflinghausen were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
