Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Marius Meul made the kick off which started today's match. After 6 minutes, Werner Dettke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wohlerst and the Rieflinghausen players grew even worse after the yellow card. 6 minutes into the match, Wohlerst's goalkeeper Shingo Karis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Uno Reska. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Frank-Dieter Appelt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wohlerst's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank-Dieter Appelt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermann Weitenhagen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Shingo Karis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Gothe in the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Uno Reska hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 played minutes Rieflinghausen got a freekick which was hit by Ingo Schinner. Marius Meul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermann Weitenhagen having to interfere. After 20 played minutes Wohlerst got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Rebmann. 23 minutes into the match, Wohlerst's goalkeeper Shingo Karis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Uno Reska. Hermann Weitenhagen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank-Dieter Appelt, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. With a little luck, Wohlerst's Shingo Karis got control of the ball when Uno Reska tried to sneak it across the goal line. Uno Reska sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Wohlerst's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Gothe came free, but Shingo Karis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shingo Karis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uno Reska in the 31st minute. Shingo Karis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin Gothe's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After a rather tough play, Wohlerst's Viktor Rebmann got a free kick in the 38th minute. Benjamin Gothe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Shingo Karis having to make a save. Uno Reska sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Hermann Weitenhagen was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Johannes-Paul Eller capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Johannes-Paul Eller really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Moritz Kock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johannes-Paul Eller kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Moritz Kock charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moritz Kock the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Shingo Karis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uno Reska in the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Benjamin Gothe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frank-Dieter Appelt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Hermann Weitenhagen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shingo Karis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uno Reska, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uno Reska recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
