Hansel Vortkamp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karsten Meckenstock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hansel Vortkamp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manfred Spaniol in the 27th minute. Eike Krentzel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konrad Kalenbach in the 30th minute of the match.
