After 36 played minutes Großkarlbach got a freekick which was hit by Atze Willmer. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Killers's goalkeeper Dennis Lusche, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 47 minutes, Josef Knappheide managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Killers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josef Knappheide was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guntram Hannemann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Menno Bier in the 54th minute of play forced The Killers's goalkeeper Dennis Lusche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dennis Lusche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximilian Bockholt, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Menno Bier in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dennis Lusche prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Großkarlbach's Graham Stober proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Großkarlbach from getting a goal against them. If Menno Bier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Killers's Dennis Lusche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximilian Bockholt in the 77th minute of play. Menno Bier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute, The Killers's Guntram Hannemann ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Graham Stober. Graham Stober yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Dennis Lusche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Menno Bier, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Donald Klingemann kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
