An unexpectedly hard shot by Asbjörn Bohn in the 13th minute of play forced Gossa SC's goalkeeper Pascal Töpfer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Asbjörn Bohn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Gossa SC booed when Marienfelde FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Janing didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arno Elgert hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Irvin Blieskes short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Pascal Töpfer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Leonid Rocks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31stth minute of the game Alvo Eiffel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marienfelde FSV's Hasse Roth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marienfelde FSV's Asbjörn Bohn got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Irvin Blieske reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pascal Töpfer. The goal made the score 1-0. 44 minutes into the match, Alvo Eiffel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hasse Roth. Marienfelde FSV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvo Eiffel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Asbjörn Bohn made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Marienfelde FSV got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Jaeniche. After having played for 54 minutes, Andreas Jaeniche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marienfelde FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andreas Jaeniche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Marienfelde FSV booed when Gossa SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gedeon Koss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hasse Roth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvo Eiffel, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Andreas Jaeniche charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andreas Jaeniche the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Andreas Jaeniche kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Pascal Töpfer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asbjörn Bohn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Irvin Blieske shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascal Töpfer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 minutes, Asbjörn Bohn made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Gossa SC's Pascal Töpfer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kay Maschotta charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kay Maschotta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kay Maschotta kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Asbjörn Bohn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Asbjörn Bohn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute of the match Ingo Jägel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hasse Roth skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Leonid Rocks managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gossa SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonid Rocks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hasse Roth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonid Rocks struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Hasse Roth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gossa SC. Gossa SC's Leonid Rocks got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Asbjörn Bohn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascal Töpfer having to interfere. Gossa SC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
