Johannes-Markus Howeg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hardi Feistl's late challenge caught a Crengeldanz FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hardi Feistl helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Crengeldanz FC booed when Brehna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hardi Feistl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hardi Feistl hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Crengeldanz FC's Alex Schimmel quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Crengeldanz FC's Basil Kuchel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Crengeldanz FC from getting a goal against them. Basil Kuchel acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 36th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Hardi Feistl. After a defensive mix-up in Brehna's zone, Marc Krebs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven Fechter came out of the goal and Marc Krebs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th match minute, Crengeldanz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erk Martens to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the game, Einar Sell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Basil Kuchel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marc Krebs to strike the kick off in the second half. Hardi Feistl made in the 55th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Crengeldanz FC's Erk Martens. If Johannes-Markus Howeg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Johannes-Markus Howeg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basil Kuchel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. The supporters of Crengeldanz FC booed when Brehna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mladen Karwath didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brehna's Sven Fechter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Krebs in the 74th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Hardi Feistl in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Crengeldanz FC's Alex Schimmel. Sven Fechter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Krebs in the 81st minute of play. If Johannes-Markus Howeg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 84 minutes into the match, Crengeldanz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Meyer came free, but Basil Kuchel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erk Martens kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Johannes-Markus Howeg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Basil Kuchel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johannes-Markus Howeg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Crengeldanz FC's Basil Kuchel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Meyer in the 96th minute of play. 99 minutes into the game, Thorbjörn Mies was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brehna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Crengeldanz FC the free kick. A collision led to Brehna getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Thorbjörn Mies hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Brehna were the better team. Brehna's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
