Meyershof's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gossa SC the free kick. Meyershof's Gunter Oberle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvo Eiffel in the 11th minute of play. With a little luck, Meyershof's Gunter Oberle got control of the ball when Leonid Rocks tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matthias W Kleber in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pascal Töpfer saved Gossa SC from getting behind. Luigi Trompeters short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Pascal Töpfer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Matthias W Kleber kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pascal Töpfer. That made the score 0-2 in the 56 minute of play. The throw-in from Calvin Stammann in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Meyershof's Herbert Gerulat.
