Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fynn Fritze started the match with the kick off. Lester Felich took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fritz Ernst Petig. Fritz Ernst Petig dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With 7 minutes on the clock, Theophil Süss commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Stuttgart fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! Fritz Ernst Petig made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Lester Felich sent off a good shot on target. Fritz Ernst Petig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lester Felich in the 13th minute. Simon Prautzsch charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon Prautzsch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Neubau FC's Fritz Ernst Petig got control of the ball when Lester Felich tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Neubau FC defense, Adé Remse kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fritz Ernst Petig. The Neubau FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fritz Ernst Petig should have stopped the shot. Manuel Bechthold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Theodor Thiery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volker Böhland having to interfere. Volker Böhland came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Neubau FC's Fynn Fritze. But to his dismay, Fynn Fritze quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 45th match minute, Stuttgart was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zlatko Rieth to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Lester Felich made the kick off in the second half. Adé Remse struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Fritz Ernst Petig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stuttgart. After 53 minutes of play, Stuttgart's Zlatko Rieth made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fritz Ernst Petig was left in no man's land by his defense there! Simon Prautzsch kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Lester Felich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Stuttgart's Volker Böhland got control of the ball when Theodor Thiery tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fynn Fritze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Volker Böhland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lester Felich blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fritz Ernst Petig having to make a save. 86 minutes into the match, Stuttgart's Adé Remse sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fritz Ernst Petig narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Lester Felich managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stuttgart's supporters rose to their feet, but Lester Felich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fritz Ernst Petig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Lester Felich came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Stuttgart fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lester Felich couldn't finish the play. After having played for 92 minutes, Lester Felich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stuttgart's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lester Felich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Stuttgart players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
