Levi Sakellariou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niklas Grünschläger having to interfere. Daniel Breithaupt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute Rudolf Junker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Grünschläger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Mackenstein charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The Kubach FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After the first half Kubach FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marc Herrndorf stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kubach FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
