Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mustafa Faust started the match with the kick off. Matthias Hülsen kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Joachim Müllerschön fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benny Jarkovsky having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Joachim Müllerschön managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iserlohn's supporters rose to their feet, but Joachim Müllerschön was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benny Jarkovsky breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes into the match, Iserlohn's Jürgen Mühlfort broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Joachim Müllerschön had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kilian Decker struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Benny Jarkovsky didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iserlohn. Benny Jarkovsky made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Kilian Decker sent off a good shot on target. If Kilian Decker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Iserlohn's Joachim Müllerschön in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Schwaförden's goalie prevented a goal. In the 36th minute Joachim Müllerschön shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benny Jarkovsky saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 minutes Schwaförden's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jürgen Mühlfort who took care of the corner kick. Joachim Müllerschön received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Benny Jarkovsky tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joachim Müllerschön sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joachim Müllerschön was the one to do the kick off. Benny Jarkovsky came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Iserlohn's Joachim Müllerschön. But to his dismay, Joachim Müllerschön quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 61st match minute, Iserlohn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urs Fabian Zielezinski to maneuver through the defense. Joachim Müllerschön sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joachim Müllerschön's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benny Jarkovsky read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Edmund Arbogast hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Schwaförden's goal looked a bit too open when Joachim Müllerschön came free, but Benny Jarkovsky reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joachim Müllerschön might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benny Jarkovsky. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joachim Müllerschön ran back to his position shaking his head. Benny Jarkovsky came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Iserlohn's Kilian Decker. But to his dismay, Kilian Decker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Urs Fabian Zielezinski kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 80th match minute, Iserlohn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Ertan Brenner to maneuver through the defense. Fred Schürig was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Heiko Pähle fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iserlohn's protests and gave Heiko Pähle a yellow card for diving instead. Hartwig Kirchberger struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Roger Funke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schwaförden. In the 86th match minute, Iserlohn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jürgen Mühlfort to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Edmund Arbogast hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Kilian Decker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benny Jarkovsky showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Müllerschön in the 93rd minute of the match. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Schwaförden's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jürgen Mühlfort was slow to take the kick. During this time Iserlohn's players had a chance to rest. Iserlohn's Jürgen Mühlfort was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benny Jarkovsky in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
