Folke Eberhard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Erik Kornmann fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored akdagspor's protests and gave Erik Kornmann a yellow card for diving instead. Marcus Terstappen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Folke Eberhard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joachim Müllerschön, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Iserlohn's Steve Walczok got a free kick in the 17th minute. Marcus Terstappen in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roger Funke, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Folke Eberhard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kilian Decker went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Joachim Müllerschön fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Eberhard having to interfere. Conrad Burschick hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. If Joachim Müllerschön had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Folke Eberhard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Müllerschön in the 39th minute of the match. akdagspor's Folke Eberhard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kilian Decker in the 42nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joachim Müllerschön in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Folke Eberhard saved akdagspor from getting behind. Kilian Decker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Folke Eberhard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cornelis Koslowski made a kick off. Roger Funke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Terstappen, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Joachim Müllerschön received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Folke Eberhard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Joachim Müllerschön had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Folke Eberhard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joachim Müllerschön, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Iserlohn's Urs Fabian Zielezinski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Folke Eberhard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joachim Müllerschön sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind akdagspor's goalkeeper Folke Eberhard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 73 played minutes akdagspor got a freekick which was hit by Conrad Burschick. In the 74th minute, Joachim Müllerschön reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Folke Eberhard. The goal made the score 0-2. Roger Funke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelis Koslowski in the 79th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joachim Müllerschön in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Folke Eberhard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. akdagspor's Folke Eberhard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Müllerschön in the 86th minute of play. Kilian Decker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Folke Eberhard having to make a save. Kilian Decker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Folke Eberhard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Andreas Müller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Jürgen Mühlfort sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and akdagspor's Folke Eberhard didn't even have to move. When the match was over Iserlohn could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than akdagspor throughout the match.
