Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dietmar Grawe made the kick off which started today's match. Tom Uebach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dietmar Grawe in the 4th minute of play. When Kubach FC's Marc Herrndorf in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Heidenpoint's goalie prevented a goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 10 minutes into the game, when Lothar Saternus put in a rough tackle. In the 11th minute, Lothar Saternus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rainer Reiner, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Rudolf Junker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Heidenpoint's zone, Levi Sakellariou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Kunstmann came out of the goal and Levi Sakellariou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute Rudolf Junker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Kunstmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tom Uebach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dietmar Grawe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rudolf Junker took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Kunstmann. Edgar Kunstmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Thorsten Happ struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Tom Uebach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heidenpoint. 36 minutes into the match, Heidenpoint's goal looked a bit too open when Levi Sakellariou came free, but Edgar Kunstmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heidenpoint's Rainer Reiner suffered a sore thigh after 37 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Rudolf Junker charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rudolf Junker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rudolf Junker hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Levi Sakellariou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Kunstmann having to interfere.
The wind increased when Levi Sakellariou made the kick off in the second half. Levi Sakellariou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Edgar Kunstmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Heidenpoint's goalkeeper Edgar Kunstmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Rudolf Junker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kubach FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rudolf Junker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Kunstmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 58 played minutes Heidenpoint got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Chille. Rudolf Junker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Levi Sakellariou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Edgar Kunstmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 minutes Heidenpoint's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marc Herrndorf who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Heidenpoint's goalie and right to Gabriel Heynemann. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Heidenpoint's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Edgar Kunstmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Levi Sakellariou, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Levi Sakellariou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Heidenpoint's Thorsten Happ got a free kick in the 85th minute. Levi Sakellariou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgar Kunstmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Johannes Chille got his second yellow card in the match during the 94th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 95th match minute, Heidenpoint was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johannes Chille to maneuver through the defense. Kubach FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
