Meik Mostert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franz Rolker in the 31st minute of the match. If Steen Beyersdorf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Schophoven FSV getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Roland Bothe hit a great ball. If Steen Beyersdorf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, TSV Cossebaude's Immanuel Neitzel got control of the ball when Gerold Feller tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Gerold Feller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schophoven FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerold Feller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Immanuel Neitzel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Massoud Thielemann kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. TSV Cossebaude were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Schophoven FSV's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Karl Scheytt took the corner. The corner ended in Karl Scheytt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Schophoven FSV's Meik Mostert did a great save. Steen Beyersdorf struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, Schophoven FSV's Fred Ortlieb got a free kick in the 78th minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Steen Beyersdorf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TSV Cossebaude's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steen Beyersdorf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jens-Erik Streichfuss hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Benno Naehring got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benno Naehring struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Immanuel Neitzel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schophoven FSV. Despite being the better team, Schophoven FSV failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
