Lothar Hach started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Darderhöfe FC's zone, Lothar Hach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elard Kroiß came out of the goal and Lothar Hach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopold Laux in the 8th minute of play forced Sportfreunde King's goalkeeper Laurence Sattler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berko Schaub got free with Elard Kroiß in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Lothar Hach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Darderhöfe FC's Elard Kroiß got control of the ball when Berko Schaub tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elard Kroiß showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lothar Hach in the 14th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Lothar Hach's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elard Kroiß was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. A collision led to Darderhöfe FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Philippe Fernkorn hit a great ball. When Mike Risthaus came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Darderhöfe FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mike Risthaus couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the match, Sportfreunde King's goal looked a bit too open when Mike Risthaus came free, but Laurence Sattler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Darderhöfe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Heckens to maneuver through the defense. Elard Kroiß took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ole Gallasch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 played minutes Lothar Hach rounded Darderhöfe FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Ole Gallasch didn't quite understand what happened when in the 49 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

54 minutes into the match, Sportfreunde King's goalkeeper Laurence Sattler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leopold Laux. The Sportfreunde King fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 62 minutes into the match, Darderhöfe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lothar Hach came free, but Elard Kroiß reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Berko Schaub ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elard Kroiß was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 79 played minutes Sportfreunde King got a freekick which was hit by Felix Sawitzki. Mike Risthaus's late challenge caught a Sportfreunde King's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mike Risthaus helped the player get up and apologised. Mike Risthaus hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Mike Risthaus might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laurence Sattler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mike Risthaus ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Darderhöfe FC defense, Berko Schaub kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elard Kroiß. The Darderhöfe FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elard Kroiß should have stopped the shot. Mike Risthaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurence Sattler having to interfere. Laurence Sattler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mike Risthaus's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Elard Kroiß made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berko Schaub in the 98th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sportfreunde King fully deserved thier win.
