In the 7th match minute, Sportfreunde King was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Drees Bornscheuer to maneuver through the defense. If Berko Schaub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. TSV Cossebaude's Immanuel Neitzel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save TSV Cossebaude from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lothar Hach in the 17th minute of play forced TSV Cossebaude's goalkeeper Immanuel Neitzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franz Rolker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Laurence Sattler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lothar Hach might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Immanuel Neitzel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lothar Hach ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd minute, Berko Schaub left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sportfreunde King fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 28thth minute of the game Lothar Hach who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TSV Cossebaude's Immanuel Neitzel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The long shot by Altin Nierlein in the 31st minute really tested Immanuel Neitzel's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lothar Hach to strike the kick off in the second half. Immanuel Neitzel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berko Schaub in the 54th minute of play. Berko Schaub sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berko Schaub recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Berko Schaub received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Immanuel Neitzel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rdth minute of the game Berko Schaub who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TSV Cossebaude's Immanuel Neitzel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Sportfreunde King's goal looked a bit too open when Steen Beyersdorf came free, but Laurence Sattler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sportfreunde King booed when TSV Cossebaude was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernst Schürhoff didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ole Gallasch, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Berko Schaub sped through TSV Cossebaude's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Immanuel Neitzel. Sportfreunde King's Felix Sawitzki suffered a concussion in the 86th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Sven Nimako charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven Nimako the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sportfreunde King booed when TSV Cossebaude was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Nimako didn't get a good kick on the ball. Immanuel Neitzel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lothar Hach in the 94th minute of the match. The supporters of Sportfreunde King booed when TSV Cossebaude was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Nimako didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard and well directed shot from Ole Gallasch led 96 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. TSV Cossebaude's Immanuel Neitzel became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 5-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sportfreunde King had played much better football throughout.
