Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Albo Bruns took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Großholthausen's zone, Ioannis zum Felde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dag Kästel came out of the goal and Ioannis zum Felde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bryan Pfeiffer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roswin Buchmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ioannis zum Felde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Großholthausen's Dag Kästel got control of the ball when Ioannis zum Felde tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Großholthausen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Ertan Reck to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Struthütten FC's Klemens Graumenz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dag Kästel. That made the score 1-0 after 26 minutes of play. Klemens Graumenz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dag Kästel having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albo Bruns in the 35th minute of play forced Struthütten FC's goalkeeper Bryan Pfeiffer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Struthütten FC's Klemens Graumenz got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Ioannis zum Felde put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dag Kästel. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Klemens Graumenz made a kick off. After 53 minutes Großholthausen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ivan Reichert who took care of the corner kick. Klemens Graumenz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dag Kästel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ioannis zum Felde in the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klemens Graumenz in the 67th minute of play forced Großholthausen's goalkeeper Dag Kästel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ioannis zum Felde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dag Kästel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ioannis zum Felde, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. A collision led to Großholthausen getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Mike Weigelt hit a great ball. In the 91st minute Ioannis zum Felde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dag Kästel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Ioannis zum Felde had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dag Kästel. Großholthausen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ioannis zum Felde was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. There was no doubt that Struthütten FC were the better team. Struthütten FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
