The audience was convinced that Stefan Landgraf's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erich Weiner was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. When Kornel Oberlack fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jerze FC's protests and gave Kornel Oberlack a yellow card for diving instead. Kornel Oberlack hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Stefan Landgraf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Erich Weiner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erich Weiner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sören Chaker in the 14th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Jerze FC's zone, Sören Chaker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erich Weiner came out of the goal and Sören Chaker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lajos Splett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oliver Buchwalder in the 27th minute. Vlad Schubert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th match minute, Sarreit FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bastian Rühmann to maneuver through the defense. Sören Chaker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Erich Weiner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stefan Landgraf during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sören Chaker was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Stefan Landgraf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarreit FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefan Landgraf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 53 minutes into the match, Jerze FC's goalkeeper Erich Weiner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stefan Landgraf. Erich Weiner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sören Chaker, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56thth minute of the game Sören Chaker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jerze FC's Erich Weiner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Erich Weiner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefan Landgraf in the 57th minute. When Sören Chaker came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Sarreit FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sören Chaker couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Stefan Landgraf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarreit FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan Landgraf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erich Weiner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stefan Landgraf had several of the Jerze FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 94 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Erich Weiner as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the match was over Sarreit FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jerze FC throughout the match.
