Mike Risthaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Orth having to interfere. Darderhöfe FC's Elard Kroiß proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Darderhöfe FC from getting a goal against them. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Charlie Gunkel made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charlie Gunkel in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elard Kroiß saved Darderhöfe FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Malte Thamm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Werder Bremen's supporters rose to their feet, but Malte Thamm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elard Kroiß breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Charlie Gunkel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Elard Kroiß tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
