When Peter Thielemann fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Keulos's protests and gave Peter Thielemann a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Keulos's Peter Thielemann got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 23 minutes, Philipp Inderhees mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Keulos and the Pulheim FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Werner Kraus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Michael Fresows short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Hanns Diller to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 71 minutes into the match, Donald Mank had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hanns Diller. Keulos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Donald Mank was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Keulos's Peter Thielemann got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Werner Kraus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hanns Diller was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Björn Bellmann kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Edwin Stotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Johann Hinz made a precise shot to the right of Dariusz Weißgerber. Pulheim FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3.
