In the 4thth minute of the game Marko Öhlmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trahweiler's Lars Lausen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robert Nickel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jakobus Schwang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lars Lausen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marko Öhlmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. TUS LEMFÖRDE's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Robert Nickel scored to the left of an out of position Jakobus Schwang, making the score, 1-0. Jakobus Schwang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Nickel in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to TUS LEMFÖRDE getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Ferit Pollmann scored 2-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jakobus Schwang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 40 minutes, Volker Kanoneks mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TUS LEMFÖRDE and the Trahweiler players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fox Görgens lost his temper 52 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 52 minutes into the game, one of Trahweiler:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 54th minute there was a penalty for TUS LEMFÖRDE. Günter Bernardi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lars Lausen. 2-1. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the game, Arno Herzog was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TUS LEMFÖRDE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trahweiler the free kick. In the 93rd match minute, TUS LEMFÖRDE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arno Herzog to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentin Frosch got free with Lars Lausen in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee ended the match the Trahweiler players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
