Herdern FC's Bastian Kaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Staheli in the 33rd minute of play. Görschnitz FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Krister Nunold in the 36th minute. A nice corner shot did that Krister Nunold got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bastian Kaspar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Herdern FC's Ursus Speckin got a free kick in the 38th minute. Lauritz Bucher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastian Kaspar having to interfere. Brian Staheli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bastian Kaspar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Brian Staheli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bastian Kaspar was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Brian Staheli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Bastian Kaspar made a huge save. After some careless play in the Herdern FC defense, Krister Nunold kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bastian Kaspar. The Herdern FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bastian Kaspar should have stopped the shot. In the 76thth minute of the game Brian Staheli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Herdern FC's Bastian Kaspar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andreas Mütsch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th match minute, Herdern FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Batzer to maneuver through the defense.
