Spectators: 6123 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 500, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marko Öhlmann got the match started through his kick off. When Arno Herzog fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TUS LEMFÖRDE's protests and gave Arno Herzog a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute of the match, Mike Ballstein tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jakobus Schwang saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. TUS LEMFÖRDE's Jakobus Schwang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save TUS LEMFÖRDE from getting a goal against them. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Wangen's goalkeeper Donald Gaisenkersting, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC Wangen's Klaus-Dieter Werkmeister got a free kick in the 17th minute. Valentin Frosch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Mike Ballstein managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Wangen's supporters rose to their feet, but Mike Ballstein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jakobus Schwang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jakobus Schwang made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Marcus Zabel sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the match, FC Wangen's goal looked a bit too open when Marko Öhlmann came free, but Donald Gaisenkersting reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Zabel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jakobus Schwang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Donald Gaisenkersting showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Frosch in the 39th minute of the match. Valentin Frosch hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mike Ballstein to make the kick off. When Olaf Michael Malborn fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TUS LEMFÖRDE's protests and gave Olaf Michael Malborn a yellow card for diving instead. Mike Ballstein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marko Öhlmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donald Gaisenkersting having to interfere. Amir Eschenbach kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Valentin Frosch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Donald Gaisenkersting tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Burkert kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. TUS LEMFÖRDE's Marko Öhlmann got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donald Gaisenkersting made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marko Öhlmann in the 72nd minute of play. If Valentin Frosch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC Wangen's Elias Burkert got a free kick in the 75th minute. With a little luck, FC Wangen's Donald Gaisenkersting got control of the ball when Valentin Frosch tried to sneak it across the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Valentin Frosch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donald Gaisenkersting. FC Wangen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Frosch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When Mike Ballstein came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the FC Wangen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mike Ballstein couldn't finish the play. The supporters of FC Wangen booed when TUS LEMFÖRDE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Volker Kanoneks didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Frosch struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Donald Gaisenkersting didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TUS LEMFÖRDE. Mike Ballstein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
