Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Werner Kraus got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Michael Fresow ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Willibald Kammer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Roland Hendricks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dariusz Weißgerber having to interfere. When Heuerßen FSV's Thomas Stanke in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pulheim FC's goalie prevented a goal. Willibald Kammer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Werner Kraus in the 11th minute of play. Eicke Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Pulheim FC's Werner Kraus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Willibald Kammer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Leonhard Raus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonhard Raus's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Dariusz Weißgerber skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Michael Fresow struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Willibald Kammer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pulheim FC. Heuerßen FSV's Willibald Kammer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Werner Kraus in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eicke Hoffmann during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 26 played minutes Heuerßen FSV got a freekick which was hit by Eicke Hoffmann. In the 29th match minute, Pulheim FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hanns Eggerking to maneuver through the defense. Dariusz Weißgerber acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 33rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Steen Brömme. Leonhard Raus struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Dariusz Weißgerber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heuerßen FSV. Werner Kraus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Thomas Stanke made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Valerius Wittenbeck sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Heuerßen FSV's Willibald Kammer didn't even have to move. If Thomas Stanke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Werner Kraus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th match minute, Pulheim FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valerius Wittenbeck to maneuver through the defense. Thomas Stanke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Dariusz Weißgerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angel Grun's late challenge caught a Pulheim FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angel Grun helped the player get up and apologised. 89 minutes into the match, Werner Kraus dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Willibald Kammer, 0-3.
