Spectators: 5300 (Terracing: 4100, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Peter Thielemann took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Peter Thielemann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Keulos's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Thielemann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bastian Kaspar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ursus Speckin fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Herdern FC's protests and gave Ursus Speckin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Herdern FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ursus Speckin hit a great ball. Keulos's Philipp Inderhees got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andreas Mütsch charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andreas Mütsch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Andreas Mütsch hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 15 minutes Herdern FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Peter Thielemann who took care of the corner kick. Keulos's Hans Hertel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bastian Kaspar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nikolaus Waddey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hanns Diller having to interfere. If Philipp Inderhees had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nikolaus Waddey took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hanns Diller. Hanns Diller dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Herdern FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Sebastian Cyzewski hit a great ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Philipp Inderhees managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Keulos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philipp Inderhees was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edwin Stotzs short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Bastian Kaspar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Niclas Hofheinz hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. When Keulos's Hans Hertel in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Herdern FC's goalie prevented a goal. Edwin Stotz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Bastian Kaspar made a huge save. Philipp Inderhees fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastian Kaspar having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Keulos's Johann Hinz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

54 minutes into the match, Keulos's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Batzer came free, but Hanns Diller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nikolaus Waddey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Hanns Diller made a huge save. When Andreas Mütsch was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 60 minutes had been played. In the 61st match minute, Herdern FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Mütsch to maneuver through the defense. Philipp Inderhees received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Bastian Kaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Herdern FC's goalkeeper Bastian Kaspar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Edwin Stotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 minutes, Volker Bothner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Keulos and the Herdern FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Keulos getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Volker Bothner hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Ursus Speckin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st minute Peter Thielemann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bastian Kaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hans Hertel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
