Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mike Ballstein got the match started through his kick off. Brian Staheli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donald Gaisenkersting having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Brian Staheli reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Donald Gaisenkersting. The goal made the score 1-0. Brian Staheli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Krister Nunold got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Krister Nunold came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Görschnitz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Krister Nunold couldn't finish the play. Görschnitz FC's Niko Echterhoff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mike Ballstein in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Jakob Backeshoff was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Wangen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Görschnitz FC the free kick. In the 26th match minute, FC Wangen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakob Backeshoff to maneuver through the defense. Tim Gleißberg tried in the game's 28th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Donald Gaisenkersting. An annoying self made goal, 2-0. After a rather tough play, FC Wangen's Klaus-Dieter Werkmeister got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Donald Gaisenkersting showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauritz Bucher, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute, Görschnitz FC's Brian Staheli dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 41st minute, Brian Staheli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donald Gaisenkersting took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Staheli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brian Staheli was the one to do the kick off. Klaus-Dieter Werkmeister charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Klaus-Dieter Werkmeister the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd minute, Klaus-Dieter Werkmeister hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the FC Wangen defense, Brian Staheli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donald Gaisenkersting. The FC Wangen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donald Gaisenkersting should have stopped the shot. In the 59th minute Brian Staheli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donald Gaisenkersting saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Wangen defense, Brian Staheli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donald Gaisenkersting. The FC Wangen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donald Gaisenkersting should have stopped the shot. 70 minutes into the match, FC Wangen's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Staheli came free, but Donald Gaisenkersting reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donald Gaisenkersting came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Görschnitz FC's Lauritz Bucher. But to his dismay, Lauritz Bucher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After a defensive mix-up in FC Wangen's zone, Brian Staheli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donald Gaisenkersting came out of the goal and Brian Staheli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Görschnitz FC's Krister Nunold got a free kick in the 76th minute. 79 minutes into the match, FC Wangen's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Staheli came free, but Donald Gaisenkersting reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Klaus-Dieter Werkmeister hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Donald Gaisenkersting stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brian Staheli's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Brian Staheli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Görschnitz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brian Staheli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donald Gaisenkersting breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Brian Staheli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 88th minute, Gunter Dohr ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donald Gaisenkersting was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. 91 minutes into the match, FC Wangen's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Staheli came free, but Donald Gaisenkersting reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niko Röhner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
