Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Henning Goldmann started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Nils Heffungs charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nils Heffungs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nils Heffungs kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Andy Ebner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Eckehard Dörnbrack tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henning Goldmann scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stanislaus Kleiner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stanislaus Kleiner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Schneck in the 15th minute of the match. Stanislaus Kleiner came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Magdeburg Sport Verein's David Schneck. But to his dismay, David Schneck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Stanislaus Kleiner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Schneck in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henning Goldmann in the 23rd minute of play forced DevilCryer Football Club's goalkeeper Stanislaus Kleiner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the DevilCryer Football Club defense, Henning Goldmann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stanislaus Kleiner. The DevilCryer Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stanislaus Kleiner should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute David Schneck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislaus Kleiner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dejan Ansieg hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After 38 played minutes DevilCryer Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Dejan Ansieg. In the 39th minute, Henning Goldmann made a precise shot to the right of Stanislaus Kleiner. DevilCryer Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Michel in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eckehard Dörnbrack prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 45 minutes into the game, Magdeburg Sport Verein's Henning Goldmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stanislaus Kleiner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

The wind increased when Frank Michel made the kick off in the second half. If Andy Ebner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Michel took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eckehard Dörnbrack. Eckehard Dörnbrack dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Magdeburg Sport Verein's goalkeeper Eckehard Dörnbrack, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stanislaus Kleiner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henning Goldmann in the 59th minute of the match. Andy Ebner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th match minute, DevilCryer Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Ebner to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Henning Goldmann dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stanislaus Kleiner, 2-6. With a little luck, DevilCryer Football Club's Stanislaus Kleiner got control of the ball when David Schneck tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Schneck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Stanislaus Kleiner made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Stanislaus Kleiner successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dejan Ansieg kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Andy Ebner hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The supporters of Magdeburg Sport Verein booed when DevilCryer Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Günes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves David Schneck could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Stanislaus Kleiner however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Schneck got free with Stanislaus Kleiner in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 95 minutes into the game, David Schneck recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stanislaus Kleiner. David Schneck showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-7. The Magdeburg Sport Verein supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Magdeburg Sport Verein would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
