Iserlohner Heide FC's Joachim Brandborn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Stiig Lamprecht in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24thth minute of the game Balko Kemski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Iserlohner Heide FC's Joachim Brandborn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Coronel Carro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johann Ebbenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Inningen were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Johann Ebbenga made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Hans Maller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fred Merker struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Coronel Carro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iserlohner Heide FC. After 70 minutes of play, Inningen's Per Stiig Lamprecht made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Balko Kemski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inningen's supporters rose to their feet, but Balko Kemski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Coronel Carro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Merker, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Per Stiig Lamprecht succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 80th playminute. When Rudolf Gerulat fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iserlohner Heide FC's protests and gave Rudolf Gerulat a yellow card for diving instead.
