Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. With a little luck, Sektion Birne's Guy Bader got control of the ball when Christian Kehr tried to sneak it across the goal line. Justus Keiderling did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Guy Bader 17 minutes into the match. Leo Ochs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Guy Bader tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kuno Lembeck in the 27th minute of play forced Wehnen FSV's goalkeeper Uwe-Jens Mager to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 minutes, Omid Lammert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sektion Birne and the Wehnen FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th minute, one of Sektion Birne:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sektion Birne. Guy Bader went to the wrong direction when Frederic Schulz was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Christian Kehr cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Guy Bader was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 41st minute, Christian Kehr left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wehnen FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leo Ochs to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sektion Birne's goalkeeper Guy Bader, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Sektion Birne's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Kehr came free, but Guy Bader reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Noah Westerwelle fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Uwe-Jens Mager, passed just outside the right post. Guy Bader took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Ochs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Adonis Kürten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guy Bader was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 72nd minute Leo Ochs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Bader saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uwe-Jens Mager made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Rothenbach in the 75th minute. If Leo Ochs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kuno Lembeck might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Uwe-Jens Mager. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kuno Lembeck ran back to his position shaking his head. After 85 played minutes Sektion Birne got a freekick which was hit by Noah Westerwelle. If Leo Ochs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Leo Ochs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guy Bader was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. 91 minutes into the game, Leo Ochs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Guy Bader was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Wehnen FSV's Adam Troxler got a free kick in the 94th minute. Wehnen FSV walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
