In the 21stth minute of the game Mads Stecher who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sektion Birne's Guy Bader was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guy Bader didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcus Püschl went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Guy Bader made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mads Stecher in the 36th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mads Stecher's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guy Bader was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Mads Stecher took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guy Bader. Guy Bader dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mads Stecher stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guy Bader made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Marcus Püschl sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Püschl got free with Guy Bader in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sektion Birne's Guy Bader played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mads Stecher in the 59th minute of play. Oskar Schumm hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Mads Stecher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mads Stecher in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Guy Bader, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 67th minute Mads Stecher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Bader saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 69 minutes, Mads Stecher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Weißenstein FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mads Stecher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Weißenstein FSV supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Weißenstein FSV would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
