Andy Ebner helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sektion Birne booed when DevilCryer Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy Ebner didn't get a good kick on the ball. 0-1 became the score in the 16th minute when Frank Michel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 20 minutes, Frank Michel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DevilCryer Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Michel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Torsten Zastrow could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Stanislaus Kleiner made a huge save. A collision led to DevilCryer Football Club getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Andy Ebner hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Kuno Lembeck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stanislaus Kleiner was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. DevilCryer Football Club's Stanislaus Kleiner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save DevilCryer Football Club from getting a goal against them. 29 minutes into the match, Sektion Birne's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Michel came free, but Guy Bader reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Friedrich Haupt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guy Bader. Sektion Birne's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Friedrich Haupt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. If Andy Ebner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute Frank Michel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Bader saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dejan Ansieg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Guy Bader. Sektion Birne's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Sektion Birne players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. DevilCryer Football Club were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kuno Lembeck to make the kick off. Frank Michel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guy Bader having to interfere. Stanislaus Kleiner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Rothenbach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Oskar Schumm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sektion Birne's goalkeeper Guy Bader, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andy Ebner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guy Bader having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Veit Nievelstein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 66th minute of the match Andy Ebner completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Andy Ebner a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Andy Ebner hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. If Frank Michel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Viktor Nüßlein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Frank Michel managed to get in a good position for a shot. DevilCryer Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Michel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guy Bader breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. DevilCryer Football Club's Viktor Nüßlein got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 91 played minutes Rato Koroschetz rounded Sektion Birne's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. 96 minutes into the match, DevilCryer Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Rothenbach came free, but Stanislaus Kleiner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Sektion Birne fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. DevilCryer Football Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
